The second day, we did another activity. The teacher gave us a paper which was about irregular verbs. We need to know these verbs to form past sentences.

Do you know the difference between irregular and regular verbs?
Do not worry, here you have the following explanation:

REGULAR VERBS
These types of verbs finish in -ED.

Examples: Play-played, want-wanted, watch-watched, ask-asked

Also, there are other verbs which finish in -y; like study and enjoy, that follow this rule: study-studied, enjoy-enjoyed. In the first verb, the "y" turns into an "i" and finally we add it the -ed. On the other hand,  the second verb only adds -ed.

IRREGULAR VERBS

There exists an irregular verbs list. We are sorry but you have to learn it.
Each verb has three tenses: present, past and past participle.
